Room 9 - Fantastic Mr Fox

In Room 9 we have started reading a book called Fantastic Mr Fox. It is about three hunters called Boggis, Bunce and Bean who are mean farmers and don't like Mr Fox. They are determined to get him and wait outside his hole, each one crouching behind a tree ready to shoot, starve, or dig him out, but Mr Fox has other plans! Keep an eye out here for some learning that will be happening soon in Room 9!

Room 7 - Revisiting and Exploring Shape

On Wednesday the 18th February Room 7 looked at shape. They made some lovely objects with their shapes such as people, cars, 'space', animals and more. Lay-Quan made a lion and Imogen made herself. Check it out!

Room 5 and 6 - Identifying and Exploring Shape

Today Room 5 and Room 6 looked at lots of different shapes and where they were in their classroom. Then made a shape collage. Here are some pictures.

Room 8 - Revisiting and Exploring 2D Shape

Today Room 8 revisited and explored 2D shape. We put shapes into categories, played 'I spy a shape', looked at the difference between circles and ovals, and squares and rectangles, made objects with 2D plastic shapes, and created our own paper shape collage. Here is some of our learning in action!

Hello all and welcome to a fun and exciting 2015! This year I will be based mostly in the Junior and Middle School, but will be in and out of other classrooms checking out the fun and exciting learning that will be going on!
